Meta-hypochondriac
I realize how small and helpless she is, killing herself with her own world view—being a goddamn meta-hypochondriac. I get the urge to cradle her in my hands, gently put her in my pocket, and run off with her to a place where it isn’t cold and raining and full of staring people. -
